it was my interpretation on how the Mario Penasa designed amp should have been build.
it is a Lm3886 and LM318 based amp. loosely based on a musical fidelity design. I changed a few things and the diy audio fraternity flamed me for "hotrodding" it. they thought that Mario Penasa was a amplifier god. his design was good but in a private message to me he admitted he wanted to keep it affordable and that the changes that I made would make it better.

Anyway....Rudi, you've taken the flack from the guys for this amp and Gert used it as a reference amp. Can only be good then. Is this the one you have in the much anticipated 'DIY your own amp' thread? If not, why not?
