Feedback.....

got the 490 (3D one) yesterday and hooked it up last night. Fantastic picture, despite being 5-10m of cabling to the SD decoder downstairs.

Problem I have now is that when i plug in the TV Link (remote eye) the picture goes from great to Cr@p!

Does anyone know whther this is a standard issue with the eye, or if mine could just be faulty. I never had a problem with my old CRT tv using the eye, so perhaps the eye has been damaged since we got rid of the old tv.

Might try and find a new remote eye somewhere. any thoughts?

Yours is faulty, I had the same issue and replaced my eye and it went away. You're getting snow right and the image is a bit wavey?

Best to probably get the best quality eye as well instead of the cheapies from Space TV.

Probably your best choice would be a multichoice accredited installer. They can be around R300 for a decent one though.
