Resignation from Admin duties
« on: July 02, 2011, 10:03:11 am »
Hi Guys,

It's with regret that I've had to resign from performing Admin duties here. With my new career path I've taken there's simply too much work to be done and I won't be able to spend the time here that is needed. But don't worry, my intention is not to disappear ;)

Gert, we shall miss your firm-but-fair hand in moderation duties. Good to hear that you will continue to grace us with your presence. So, what is the new career path? Starting a speaker building business?

Gert, thanks very much for the time you put into the operations of the forum! ;) The intention was never to dump the entire thing on your lap - you did far more than was expected. Best of luck in your new venture :)

Hehe, thanks guys :)

No speaker building business for me I'm afraid, I'm yet to find something audio related that'll be able to pay the bills :D I can't give out too much details, suffice to say I'm working with a pretty small but brilliant bunch of guys doing business development of a process management product for the enterprise market. This is an area I'm very passionate about as well and it seems to be a pretty untapped market locally, although it has been hugely successful internationally. But there's a lot of work to be done; having a strat session with the guys yesterday made my head spin (and I've got a pretty big head :P)

Gert, I wish you all the best for the future. How does that old Irish saying go? 'May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face'.

Good ****** riddance. Pooftah pansy of note. What this forum needs is someone who actually has a pair. Brass ones. Enough of this PC rubbish - ban them all, I say, ban them all! Break a few bones and the riff-raff will fall into place soon enough. Tough love, people, tough love!

 ;D

Gonna miss ya, Gert! Who else has the honour of having banned my favourite cyber-bully?  ;)
