« on: November 05, 2007, 01:01:09 pm »
I really enjoyed William's review of the Jamo speakers :D Particularly the part of chasing the neighbours away using a paintball gun ;D

Vinyl junkies must remember if Wiliam does join in that he's not the main target. There's a limit to how many times one can get shot and still feel no pain.

On the other hand, a picture of a painball splattered William would probably bring a smile to a face or two. If only we could get him to sit still long enough to do a really good job.  Could stick an old battered LP on to him and use it as a target.

Joel,

I am vastly unfit and will not entertain the notion of a paintball day. On the weekend I bought 145 vinyl records for R0.50 each - yes, yes I over paid for them but they melt a treat in my oven and make really cool oddment holders if you place them on top of a pot first.

I was also thinking of making handbags from them but I see someone else has already done that. Throwing them like frisbees into a concrete wall to see how many bits you can smash off with a single throw is also worth 50 cents a pop. Fun and cheap entertainment for the whole family.

But perhaps making body armour for paint ball from them is not a bad idea. So if you need a few, let me know. I will have them pre sliced and diced, good to go!
